When you love where you live, life is good.

Luxury Living at Presidential City For my friends who don’t know me well on here, I am born and raised in the Philadelphia area and truly love it so much. Philly is one of those special cities that makes everyone feel at home. It welcomes you with open arms, and makes you so prideful for your city, even if you are new to it! As they say, it is the city of brotherly love & sisterly affection. Since Philly has so many different neighborhoods, narrowing down where you want to live can be really hard. I spent a lot of time touring different areas, apartments, and buildings until I found a hidden gem that beat all of the rest. Cue: Presidential City.

From my first tour of Presidential City, I fell in love and decided that I didn’t want to leave, so I never did! I signed a lease the next day haha. Since I know choosing where you want to live and apartment hunting can be a big, ominous task, I wanted to share my experience in hopes that it helps someone when navigating the Philadelphia area.

Interior

Luxury Living at Presidential City

Luxury Living at Presidential City Not only is the outdoor property of beautiful, but the interior of the apartments is so stunning. Apartment sizes range from 1 BD, 2 BD, and 3 BD, with all different square footage options depending on what your needs are. Regardless of the size, all units have beautiful high ceilings, modern finishes, state-of-the-art kitchens/appliances, and spacious bathrooms. I absolutely love the open concept of each unit as it makes even smaller spaces feel really open! The owner’s architects of these buildings, Post Brothers, truly spared no details and everything is just beautiful.

There are 4 different buildings in the complex and each has different finishes, color schemes, and lobbies, so you can find the one that is perfect for you. Talk about options for all! For me, scheduling a tour really helped to narrow down what type of apartment I was looking for. You can do that here.

Amenities

One thing that I absolutely fell in love with about Presidential City is just how many amenities and perks come from living in the complex. With so many other Philadelphia apartments, you always feel like you are lacking or missing something whether it be outdoor space, parking spots, access to a home gym, or any number of helpful amenities, but I promise Presidential City isn’t skimping on any of the above!

Let’s started

with the place where I spend so much of my time; Sora Pool Club. The Sora Pool Club must have been created by god himself (lol) because it is a small slice of heaven. Located in the center of the complex, it is made up of a gym (equipped with a full fitness class schedule), spa (including a steam room, massage beds, etc), and a *massive* pool area with lounge beds, cabanas, outdoor grills, and hot tubs. Being at Sora literally makes you feel like you are at a resort in your very own backyard. I have spent many a summer day down by the pool, and honestly use this area all throughout the year to sit, work, or just relax outside.

Location

Another thing that sold me was the location. Presidential City is insanely close (about 2-5) miles from so many amazing destinations like Manayunk, Fairmont Park, SubUrban Square, and only about 15 minutes from downtown Center City. I love that you have the luxury of the apartment complex (like parking and amazing amenities), but you are a stone’s throw away from so many city favorites.

Close to:

Fairmont Park
Suburban Square

I hope this post gave you a little insight on why I absolutely love this property and why you need to book a tour immediately haha. I would recommend Presidential City to anyone and I can’t wait to continue my experience here for years to come.
